Open Circle Ring

The Open Circle Ring is an organic open circle shape, first created in wax, then cast in recycled 14k yellow gold using the lost wax method. It's finished with a 2.5mm diamond on one side and a cluster of three 1mm diamonds on the other.  

Allow this ring to be a gentle and sparkly reminder to open oneself to new and unfamiliar possibilities.

My process is methodical and meditative, allowing me to turn inward and connect with a thought or feeling which then manifests as a piece of jewelry. When creating this ring, I wanted a reminder to say 'yes' more often, to open, to soften, and to receive signals around me. This can be especially meaningful to someone who is going through a life change. This was personally helpful when I was pregnant and expecting my first child. As with all my jewelry, this ring can hold different and unique meaning depending on what the wearer is experiencing in her own life. What does it mean to you?
